During their formative high school years, many students will learn how to drive and experience the freedom of adulthood. Here at VMHS, many teenagers already have their licenses. Students with their licenses who wish to park at the school will do so by receiving a parking pass, which allows them their spot on campus.
To obtain your parking pass, complete a couple of steps first. First, students need to have their driver’s license and proof of their printed car insurance. Students must present a copy or a picture of this information to either Ms. Ball, the Superintendent, or Ms. Yolie, the campus secretary. From there, students must wait for an approval email with their parking pass.
Many students enjoy the freedom and accessibility of a parking pass and find the process of a pass relatively easy.
Senior Nevaeh Galdamez explained the easy process, “I got my permit when I was 15 and my license at 16. It was a couple of months before I got my license because the DMV was packed. I had to send the administrators a picture of my license and insurance and then wait for an email back.”

Senior Maiya Feilds also expressed her admiration for the freedom that came with a license and a parking pass.
Ms. James, the student services secretary, is responsible for assigning PARC hours. Students must go to room A202 to receive and complete the PARC Attendance Verification form.
Students can have up to 15 tardies in a semester, or their parking privileges will be revoked, and they must complete PARC hours to regain them.
