The class of 2025 gathered on the main lawn at 6:45 in the morning to watch as the sun rose over the Veterans Memorial sign. On Sept. 6, seniors joined together to celebrate the beginning of their last year and talk about all their high school memories and how much they have grown. Seniors were welcome to join and get to know their graduating class. Seniors brought blankets, food, snacks, beverages, and cameras to capture memories, and donuts were available. Students bought card games, board games, and other things to entertain themselves and their friends while waiting for the sun’s rays to penetrate the morning darkness.
Senior Maya Buckner attended Senior Sunrise. “I personally enjoyed Senior Sunrise. The weather was nice, and it was a way to make many more memories with my friends in high school that we can look back on in the future,” she said. “Having fun with friends made the experience ten times better.”
