Sprinting Around the Diamond

The VMHS varsity baseball is looking forward to being different from all the other teams we’ve previously had here. Head coach Gutierrez is going to be moving players around to different spots and is going to have the players moving with a sense of urgency. The varsity roster has a lot of talent with some returning players, featuring Nathan Fuentes, 1, Dylan Geren, 2, Sonny Kretzer, 5, Izik Hui, 6, Pierson Lehman, 7, Nickolas Gomez, 12, Joseph Ulrich, 14, Andy Perez, 15, Alejandro Ocana, 19, Elijah Juarez, 21, Vijay Mata, 23, Elijah Nash, 33. “The 2024 team will be a group that is going to compete from beginning to end,” Gutierrez said.

The VMHS junior varsity baseball team is looking to pick right where they left off last year with their technique, competitiveness, and team chemistry. Coach Aleman is excited for some of the new talent they will be getting from the new freshman players. The J.V. has a lot of returning talent to help them improve even more from last year, featuring Jeramey Rodriguez, 1, Cayden Cooper, 2, Noah Munoz, 3, Victor Garcia, 4, Isaac Hernandez, 5, Nicholas Roxas, 6, Collin Wagner, 7, Julian Buenrostro, 10, Dominic Basile, 12, Chrisanthony Ramos, 14, Charles Peper, 16, Jaiben Enriquez, 17, Josiah Villareal, 18, Yahir Ocana, 19, Evan Buenrostro, 21, Josh Jennings, 22, Fermin Sanchez, 24, Landen DeLaO, 25. “We are looking forward to a great year and continue to elevate the standard of Patriot Baseball,” Aleman said.
