Homecoming

The Patriots homecoming is right around the corner. The theme is a ‘Waltz in the Garden’, a very floral greenery aesthetic. Dress shopping comes with the excitement of dressing up from students day to day clothing to beautiful dresses and button ups. Homecoming requires much administration and that means that Patriots can’t disregard the dress code.

Senior Class Advisor Chad Shugart said, “We have those that have worn jeans and boots with a nice shirt and cowboy hat to those that want to dress casually.” Shugart also stated, “Homecoming is a semi-formal dance. There are a few requirements listed to attend this year’s homecoming. This includes proper dress code. Ladies can’t wear see-through dresses, shorter dresses above the mid thigh, no backless dresses, and no sleeveless straps. Another requirement is that absences play a very important role in terms of getting an entrance ticket. You can not have any more than three absences or any referrals.”

Patriots will be able to get their tickets by grade. The listed tickets go by Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshman on their respective days . The dates will go in order from September 3rd through the 6th. Prices will be $25 until September 9th to the 13th. Tickets will be located in the cafeteria. Patriots must provide a school ID to get a ticket.  Students who pay later than September 6th will be priced at $30. Tickets will not be sold on the day of the homecoming.

The Homecoming will be opening doors and starting on September 14, 7PM-11PM located in the VMHS cafeteria. Students who do not bring an ID and are out of dress code will be sent home immediately and not allowed inside the dance. Join our homecoming dance for our Patriots to dance the night away.
